LOMBARD LOG HAULERS
Big Dave's pictures of the Lombard Log Haulers at Cunliffe Depot. Lombard stopped production in 1917. They had a factory in Waterville. The first pictures are Steam
powered and the others are gas powered. Charlie and Willie are checking out the Lombard.

BIG DAVE'S CAMERA SHOTS OF OUR PORTAGE
Big Dave's pictures of our portage around Allagash Falls. The ice at the end was a surprise.
It was a 6 ft. drop to the river at the end.

Ring Bolt on portage trail. This was used along with block and tackle and 2 horses to haul the loggers horse boats up the trail and around Allagash Falls. The boats were 40ft. long and 8ft. wide at the bottom. c.1700s to 1930.
